Our Story

Highline Homestead is a family owned and operated small flock egg producer, providing farm fresh eggs to customers and stores across the Gallatin Valley.

Highline Homestead was created in the Spring of 2019 as an off shoot of our sister company, Highline Crossing Eggs. We wanted to bring the same quality that Highline Crossing has offered to the Gallatin Valley for more than ten years to an outdoor access flock that produces a beautiful mixed carton of brown, green, and blue farm fresh eggs.

Along with our Highline Crossing flocks, our family cares for an additional free-range flock of about 325 chickens.
The Highline Homestead flock has a comfy home in an old milking parlor barn where they have free access to community nesting boxes and quality feed and water systems, as well as 24/7 access to a very large outdoor area where they dust bathe, run and fly, and do all the chicken things. Our coop and run are designed for predator prevention and we carefully monitor our flock to ensure we are providing them the best quality of life on a daily basis.

Our eggs are currently for sale at Town and Country Foods (East Main and 11th store), L&F Market in Manhattan, and Zeke’s Little Store on Bridger Drive.

We hope that you enjoy learning about our flocks and how we operate our family business to bring you the best products possible!

Cheers,

Aly
